Tennis Ball Recycling

Courtesy of your Tennis Club and RecycleBalls.org, tennis ball recycling stations are now available on the Kiva tennis patio and inside the entry gate to Mita Court 5 for your used tennis balls. Our Tennis Club has recycled over 16,000 used tennis balls since the start of this program! Thanks to all of our members for participating in the worthwhile program and especially to our volunteers that collect and ship the used tennis balls to the vendor. If you would like to volunteer to assist with the recycle ball program, please contact Linda Heining at trilogytennis@outlook.com or leave a message on the Contact Page of this website.

RecycleBalls is an innovative 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to recycle and reuse every tennis ball in the United States!  They convert used tennis balls into a unique crumb rubber (Green Gold) that has been incorporated into many products since 2018.

In February 2019, Recycleballs was one of four nonprofits nominated as an environmental finalist in the prestigious 2019 Halo awards. The Trilogy Tennis Club is proud to support their mission by participating in the recycling program. The program costs are minimal for our Club and provides a big environmental impact.

We asked that you place your used tennis balls in the recycling stations rather than discarding them in the trash or home recycling. The Tennis Club will empty the recycling stations for free shipment back to RecycleBalls. We also circulate the best recycled tennis balls through the Club's ball machine to help keep these balls fresher as well.
