The Tennis Club is pleased to offer a ball machine for members' use at both the Mita and Kiva Clubs. We have recently acquired a like-new ball machine for use at the Mita as a donation by a very generous Trilogy resident. Our club is very appreciative.
![]() | The Mita ball machine is stored next to our drinking fountain on the north wall of the Mita Art Studio and is available for tennis club members to reserve on RMC-2020 and use at the Mita courts. The Silent Partner ball machine has a 100-ball hopper and an internal battery. This unit must be plugged into electrical power when not in use. The unit can feed balls with topspin or backspin. The unit also includes ball feed rate, ball speed and an adjustable directional oscillation (2-Line) control. The unit is now available exclusively for our Club members use. |
![]() | The Tennis Club's Kiva ball-machine is battery operated and provides approximately 4 hours of continuous operation on a full charge. Note: the battery must be checked out from the Alvea Spa front desk and returned there when you are done using the machine. The unit has a 100-ball capacity hopper and can feed balls with topspin or backspin. The unit also includes ball feed rate, ball speed and an adjustable directional oscillation (2-Line) control. The unit is now available exclusively for our Club members use. |
Our two ball machines may be reserved through the “Reserve My Court” (RMC-2020) tennis court reservation system. To schedule the ball machine, select "ball machine (Kiva or Mita)" from the "Event" pull down menu on your court reservation. Your court and ball machine reservation will be displayed on the court schedule.
The Mita ball machine is stored on the north exterior wall of the Mita art studio near the drinking water dispenser. Balls are stored in the ball machine hopper. Please plug the ball machine into the wall receptacle and place the protective cover over the unit after use. Please review the Silent Partner Operating Manual.pdf and Quick Start Guide to become familiar with the features and operation of this ball machine.
The Kiva ball machine and practice balls are stored in the shorter of the two storage cabinets on the right side of the water system at the Kiva Courts. The lock combination is 0004. The ball-machine battery is maintained on continuous charge at the Alvea Spa front desk. Please review the Playmate Owner's Manual.pdf and Quick Start Guide to familiarize yourself with the unit.
The taller cabinet stores our leaf blowers and our First Aid Kit. The lock combination for the taller storage cabinet is 0003. Please LOCK both cabinets when you are finished by closing the lock and scrambling the combination.
Please report any problems with the ball machine to the Tennis Club Executive Board through the Contact page of this website. Thanks for your cooperation.
