Ball Machine

The Tennis Club's ball-machine is battery operated and provides approximately 4 hours of continuous operation on a full charge. Note: the battery must be checked out from the Alvea Spa front desk and returned there when you are done using the machine.

The unit has a 100-ball capacity hopper and can feed balls with topspin or backspin. The unit also includes ball feed rate, ball speed and an adjustable directional oscillation (2-Line) control.

The unit is now available exclusively for our Club members use.

The ball machine may be reserved through the “Reserve My Court” (RMC-2020) tennis court reservation system. To schedule the ball machine, select "ball machine" from the "Event" pull down menu on your court reservation. Your court and ball machine reservation will be displayed on the court schedule.

Please review the Playmate Owner's Manual.pdf or our Quick Start Guide to become familiar with the features and operation of the ball machine before taking it out for a 'spin'.

The ball machine and practice balls are stored in the shorter of the two storage cabinets on the right side of the water system at the Kiva Courts. The lock combination is 0004. The ball-machine battery is maintained on continuous charge at the Alvea Spa front desk. You must check out and return the battery to the Alvea Spa to use the ball-machine.

The taller cabinet stores our leaf blowers and our First Aid Kit. The lock combination for the taller storage cabinet is 0003. Please LOCK both cabinets when you are finished by closing the lock and scrambling the combination.

Please report any problems with the ball machine to the Tennis Club Executive Board through the Contact page of this website. Thanks for your cooperation.
