At the HOA Board's March 14, 2024 meeting the Board of Directors (BOD) approved the court sharing preliminary agreement with tennis courts 5 & 6 designated as the shared courts.
The first trial of the court sharing preliminary agreement April 1 - 30, 2024 and second trial October 1 thru December 31, 2024 were both successful. The success of the trials has allowed the court sharing agreement to be extended for 1 year. The new agreement extension continues the current court sharing framework (see below) with pickleball play from January thru April and October thru December in 2025. Tennis play will end on Courts 5 & 6 at 1:45pm daily during the court sharing time periods. Temporary pickleball nets will be rolled onto the courts daily and removed at dusk. Drop-in tennis play (no court reservation) is allowed after 2pm on the shared courts ONLY when there is no pickleball play and BOTH courts are empty.
We are pleased that the BOD is continuing the work to move the long-term capital projects, i.e., building pickleball courts, forward.
The tennis club executive board remains focused on maintaining our tennis courts as we continue to work cooperatively with the community through the court sharing and construction periods. We look forward to project completion when all of our tennis courts are again used exclusively for tennis play and the enjoyment of our fellow tennis club members.
